Photo coverage of current events
The LETA Photo Department provides high-quality visual content for Latvian media and businesses, producing at least 150–200 photo materials daily, covering current events in Riga and across Latvia.
The team consists of experienced photographers who perform various assignments, including event photo coverage, corporate portraits, architectural and interior photography, openings of buildings and production facilities, topping-out ceremonies, and presentations.
LETA photographs are also published by the largest photo agency in the Baltics, Scanpix, alongside international agencies such as Reuters, AFP, Associated Press, and EPA, demonstrating high professional standards.
In addition, the Photo Department produces aerial photography with certified drone pilots, capturing high-quality images from above. Indoor photography sessions are supported with professional lighting to ensure visually high-quality results in various conditions.
LETA photo archive
LETA has created one of the largest photo archives in Latvia, with more than one million images covering a wide range of events, personalities, and industries.
Archive search is enhanced with artificial intelligence, allowing identification of objects in photographs (such as company logos) even if they are not mentioned in the image descriptions.
For editorial needs and client requirements, we offer favorable subscription terms based on agreed usage volumes. It is also possible to order individual images from LETA and its partner photo archives.
Scanpix - the largest photo content network in the Baltics
In 2022, LETA became the sole owner of Scanpix Baltics, providing clients with an even broader and more diverse range of images.
Scanpix combines visual content from Baltic media and leading global news agencies, including Reuters, AFP, AP, EPA, Getty Images, Sipa Press, ZUMA Press, Imago Images, and DPA, as well as Baltic photo agencies.
Scanpix provides access to a wide range of archive content for communication, marketing, and editorial needs. Clients can choose the most suitable cooperation model - regular content supply or individual image purchases.
Versatile video services
The LETA video team offers high-quality video services tailored to various client needs, published on the LETA website, major online portals, and other digital platforms. Services include live event streaming, video press releases, educational content, podcasts, drone filming, and training video production.
The team also creates short-form videos (reels), adapting content to social media formats. Videos are produced with titles, music, voiceovers, as well as dynamic digital solutions with animation and motion graphics, ensuring visually engaging and professional results.
Infographics creation
In addition to daily operations, LETA staff have gained extensive experience in specialized projects, including multimedia content production and the development of corporate materials and infographics (visual representations of information).
Projects are carried out from concept development to final delivery, ensuring clear and visually engaging communication of information.
