Harmony loses to For Stability also in Rezekne
RIGA, Oct 2 (LETA) - Harmony party has failed to win Latvia's parliamentary elections also in the eastern Latvian city of Rezekne whose long-standing mayor is Harmony member Aleksandrs Bartasevics.
According to the Central Election Commission's data, Harmony has received 12.21 percent of the vote in Rezekne, down from 46.09 percent in the previous Saeima elections four years ago.
This time, For Stability beat Harmony in Rezekne winning 22.34 percent of the vote.
The Union of Greens and Farmers has received 7.53 percent, Latvia's Russian Union 7.53 percent, Latvia First 7.34 percent, National Alliance 6.49 percent, Sovereign Power 6.02 percent and New Unity 5.72 percent of the vote in Rezekne.
