About 200 applications for compensations of heating bills submitted in Jurmala during first two days
RIGA, Oct 4 (LETA) - During the first two days, Jurmala regional administration has already received about 200 applications for compensations of heating bills, LETA learned from the local government.
Most or 60 percent of residents have used e-service to submit the application, while other used different ways.
The local government has a clear procedure for granting the compensations, at the same time, the local government is also following the Economics Ministry's guidelines.
As reported, the government has adopted amendments to the law on measures for reducing the extraordinary energy price hike, including additional measures for support to households and companies during the upcoming heating season.
