RIGA, July 4 (LETA) - The Union of Greens and Farmers' ticket for the 15th Saeima elections includes several former and current mayors, according to the Central Election Commission's website.

In Riga constituency, Economics Minister Viktors Valainis is the Greens/Farmers' top candidate. He is followed by Saeima members Augusts Brigmanis, Olegs Burovs and Gunars Kutris, physician Peteris Apinis and Latvian Medical Association's Vice-President Maris Plavins, former Interior Minister Sandis Girgens, and others.

Saeima Speaker Daiga Mierina tops the Greens/Farmers ticket for Vidzeme constituency. She is followed by MPs Armands Krauze, Janis Dinevics, Harijs Rokpelnis, Juris Jakovins and Andrejs Celapiters. The ticket also features former Jurmala mayor, now MP Rita Sproge, Madona Municipality's Chairman Agris Lungevics, MP Normunds Audziss, former Kegums Municipality Chairman Ilmars Zemnieks, and Bauska Municipality member Martins Cimermanis.

Former climate and energy minister, now MP Kaspars Melnis will be the Greens/Farmers' top candidate in Latgale constituency. Second on the ticket is Saeima member Liga Kozlovska, followed by former MP and Riga City Council member Andris Morozovs, Preili Municipality member Aija Bitinas, Daugavpils Regional Hospital's head Inta Vaivode, head of the State Employment Agency's Rezekne branch Diana Zirnina, deputy head of Augsdaugava Municipality Reinis Licis, deputy head of Kraslava Municipality Viktorija Lene, and former Agriculture Minister Janis Duklavs.

Current Agriculture Minister Uldis Augulis tops the Greens/Farmers ticket for Kurzeme constituency. He is followed by former Ventspils councilor Kristine Lemberga, MP Janis Vucans, Dienvidkurzeme Municipality member Aivars Priedols, MP Girts Stekerhofs, and Saldus Municipality member Krisjanis Valters.

Welfare Minister Reinis Uzulnieks heads the Greens/Farmers' ticket in Zemgale. The ticket also includes Saeima member Andris Berzins, the Economics Ministry's Parliamentary Secretary Jurgis Miezainis, MPs Liga Klavina, Ligita Gintere and Rita Vectirane, former Jelgava Mayor Andris Ravins, and deputy head of Azikraukle Municipality Dainis Vingris.

In total, there are 125 candidates on the Greens/Farmers' ticket for the 15th Saeima elections.

The 15th Saeima elections are scheduled for early October.
