39% of Latvia's latest Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga
RIGA, June 3 (LETA) - Of the 296 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia in the past 24 hours, 39 percent have been recorded in Riga, according to the data of the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
Other municipalities registered fewer cases, the CDC said.
Riga confirmed 106 new cases and the capital city's cumulative 14-day Covid-19 incidence dropped to 1,462 cases.
Meanwhile, Jelgava reported 15 new Covid-19 cases, Ogre county and Ventspils reported 14, while other counties reported less than ten cases.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population dropped to 230.7.
