Most of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga, Ventspils as well as Saldus region
RIGA, July 28 (LETA) - Of the 78 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia in the past 24 hours, almost half have been recorded in Riga and quite a few cases have been reported also in Ventspils and Saldus region, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
The 36 new cases recorded in Riga, brought the capital city's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases to 282.
Ventspils reported five new cases and Saldus region also reported five new cases.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population rose to 34.1 cases.
