Most of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga, Daugavpils and Gulbene
RIGA, March 18 (LETA) - Out of the 482 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia in the past 24 hours, nearly 40 percent have been recorded in Riga, but Daugavpils and Gulbene reported many cases as well, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
The 185 new cases discovered in Riga brought the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases in the Latvian capital to 2,349.
Daugavpils reported 26 new cases, while the cumulative 14-day incidence reached 406. Gulbene county reported 19 new cases and the the two-week cumulative incidence in the county rose to 158.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population is currently 379.2, according to LETA's estimates.
