Riga City Council cuts this year's expenditure by EUR 23 million
RIGA, Nov 10 (LETA) - The Riga City Council today supported amendments to the 2021 budget, cutting expenditure by about EUR 23 million, while revenue forecast has been cut by EUR 8 million.
Thus, the council's total revenue will reach EUR 932 million, an expenditure - EUR 1.053 billion.
The Riga City Council plans to increase funding for housing benefit for poor people by EUR 440,000. Also, additional EUR 300,000 will be allocated to agency Rigas Gaisma.
