RIGA, June 6 (LETA) - Today is the final early voting for the municipal elections in Latvia, the Central Election Commission informed LETA.

All 948 polling stations throughout Latvia will be open from noon to 15:00.

Tomorrow is the official election day, when all polling stations will be open from 08:00 to 20:00.

As reported, as many as 140,428 or 10.2 percent of voters have cast their votes in the local elections in Latvia on the first four early voting days.

At the moment, the highest voter turnout is in Riga, where 12.18 percent of voters have cast their ballots. Voter turnout in Vidzeme is 10.49 percent, in Latgale - 8.93 percent, in Zemgale - 8.56 percent, while in Kurzeme 8.17 percent of voters have been to polling stations so far.

On Monday and Wednesday early voting has experienced technical glitches that affected operations of the systems and registers necessary for the polling process, while no problems were reported on Tuesday and Thursday
