Jelgava Prison in quarantine again after discovery of fresh Covid-19 cases
RIGA, April 9 (LETA) - Jelgava Prison, which in November last year became the first jail in Latvia to report a Covid-19 case, is in quarantine again after the discovery of four new cases, LETA was told at the Latvian Prison Administration.
The prison's inmates and staff are currently being tested for Covid-19.
A special commission has been set up at the Prison Administration to coordinate quarantine measures at Jelgava Prison.
The prison has been put into quarantine until April 30.
