Gulbene, Sigulda, Kekava municipalities report highest Covid-19 incidence
RIGA, Dec 6 (LETA) - Gulbene, Sigulda and Kekava municipalities currently show the highest Covid-19 incidence in Latvia, according to the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
The two-week cumulative Covid-19 incidence in Latvia has dropped to 586 cases per 100,000 population. In Gulbene municipality it was 1,478.2 cases, in Sigulda municipality - 878.4, and in Kekava municipality - 857.8 cases.
Of the 230 new Covid-19 cases reported on Sunday, 46 percent or 106 cases were registered in Riga. The number of Covid-19 cases reported in the past 14 days in Riga has dropped to 3,741.
