Screening reveals Covid-19 in 1.23% of samples in Baltinava, in 3.15% of samples in Rugaji
RIGA, Mar 16 (LETA) - Crowd testing in the eastern Latvian municipalities of Baltinava and Rugaji last week revealed Covid-19 in 1.23 percent of all saliva samples collected in Baltinava and 3.15 percent of samples in Rugaji.
Out of the 184 people who were given test kits in Baltinava, 162 returned their tests. The screening in Baltinava covered 15.24 percent of the municipality's population.
Two of the returned tests, or 1.23 percent, were positive and one test result was inconclusive.
Out of the 191 Covid-19 tests performed as part of crowd testing in Rugaji, six tests, or 3.15 percent, came back positive. Two test results were inconclusive.
