RIGA, Feb 8 (LETA) - Wolt food delivery service on Tuesday will start operations also in Liepaja, LETA learned from Wolt Baltic manager Liis Ristal.

She said that initially Wolt will ensure contactless food and meal deliveries from more than 20 restaurants and ten stores in Liepaja.

Ristal said that Liepaja is the first place outside Riga where Wolt launches operations, but in the future other cities might be included in the list.

Food and meal deliveries can be ordered from more than 550 restaurants and more than 70 stores through Wolt application.

In 2019 Wolt Latvija generated EUR 1.62 million in turnover, while the company's profit was EUR 77,165. 

Wolt Latvija was registered in 2016, and has a share capital of EUR 2,800. The company's sole owner is Wolt Enterprises.
