15 new national and local single customer service centres open in September
Riga, Sept 5 (LETA) - This week 15 new unified state and local government customer service centers were opened, the Public Relations Department of the Smart Administration and Regional Development Ministry informed LETA.
Six new customer service centrers were opened in Madona, four in Smiltene and three in Balvi.
Thus, the population of Latvia now has access to 254 customer service centers, where people can apply for services of 19 state institutions - social, business, construction and many others - as well as for municipal services in person, by telephone and electronically.
At each single customer service center, citizens can apply electronically for the most important state and local government services, receive support in using eSignature and the official e-address, and get other advice, either on their own or with the support of a member of staff.
