Riga, March 5 (LETA) - The Riga branch of the Unity party will continue to be headed by Riga Vice Mayor Vilnis Kirsis, Linda Ozolina, a consultant to the Saeima faction of New Unity, informed LETA.

On Wednesday, the Riga branch of the Unity party held a general meeting, at which Kirsis was re-elected as the head of the branch. The Riga branch is the largest in the party and has almost 800 members.

The general meeting also elected the board of the Riga branch and confirmed the branch representatives in the party's council. Edgars Ikstens, Nils Josts, Janis Lazdans, Gatis Liepins, Roberts Matulis, Linda Ozola, Olafs Pulks and Zinta Zviedre were elected to the board of the Riga branch of the party.

The party's representatives in the council are Lita Beiris, Arvids Celmalis, Liene Anna Grivina, Josts, Lazdans, Matulis, Ozola, Janis Ozols, Pulks, Agnese Reinholde, Sanita Stelpe-Seglina, Eliza Nikola Sverzicka, Daila Senberga and Zviedre.
