Sprindzuks to be United List's candidate for Riga mayor
RIGA, Feb 21 (LETA) - Maris Sprindzuks will be the United List political alliance's candidate for Riga mayor in the upcoming local elections.
Edgars Bergholcs will be United List's candidate for Riga vice-mayor.
According to United List, Sprindzuks obtained his university degree in the United States and has worked at several municipalities, ministries, and in Saeima.
Bergholcs is a businessman with 20 years of experience in managing international companies. He is also chairman of the Association of Smart and Energy Efficient Urban Technology.
LETA has learned that Agnese Geduseva, former deputy chairwoman of Kekava Region Council, could also run in the elections in Riga.
