President to visit Latvia's eastern border next week
RIGA, Aug 15 (LETA) - President Edgars Rinkevics will visit Latvia's eastern border on Tuesday, August 19, as the President's Chancery informed LETA.
During the visit, Rinkevics will inspect progress with infrastructure development on the Latvian-Russian border.
As reported, prolonged and intense rainfall this summer in Latgale has delayed construction of infrastructure on Latvia's borders with Russia and Belarus.
