28% of new Covid-19 cases registered in Riga
RIGA, June 11 (LETA) - Out of the 178 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia over the past 24 hours, 28 percent were recorded in Riga and relatively many cases were registered also in Daugavpils and Liepaja, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
The 50 new cases discovered in Riga brought the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases in the Latvian capital to 1,084.
Daugavpils and Liepaja reported 11 new Covid-19 cases each, Jelgava, Daugavpils, Dobele and Rezekne counties reported eight new cases each.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population dropped to 166.4.
