Most of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga, Jelgava and Gulbene county
RIGA, March 31 (LETA) - Of the 630 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia on Tuesday, 39 percent have been recorded in Riga, and there were also many cases reported in Jelgava and Gulbene county, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
Riga reported 247 new Covid-19 cases, which brought the capital city's 14-day cumulative number of Covid-19 cases to 2,436.
Jelgava registered 29 new Covid-19 cases, with the total number of two-week cases reaching 306. Gulbene county reported 23 new Covid-19 cases, with the cumulative two-week Covid-19 cases rising to 181.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population is currently 364, according to LETA's estimates.
