Number of new Covid-19 cases starts to decline
RIGA, Aug 22 (LETA) - During the past week, from August 15 until August 21, the number of new Covid-19 cases has declined by 14.6 percent, the Center for Disease Prevention and Control Center (CDC) reported.
Still, the number of Covid-19 patients in hospitals increased - by 16 percent compared to the previous week.
The number of new Covid-19 cases declined in all Latvia's regions, while in Latgale Covid-19 incidence remains high.
