Highest number of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga and Marupe municipality
RIGA, Aug 2 (LETA) - Of the 26 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia in the past 24 hours 38 percent were recorded in Riga and a relatively high number of cases were recorded in Marupe municipality, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
The 14 new cases discovered in Riga brought the capital city's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases to 339.
Three new Covid-19 cases were recorded in Marupe, while Jelgava and Olaine municipality each reported two cases.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population is now 39.1, according to LETA's estimates which are based on CDC data.
