RIGA, Feb 5 (LETA) - The National Alliance in the upcoming municipal elections will run in 34 counties and cities: 16 municipalities in Vidzeme, seven in Kurzeme, seven in Zemgale and four in Latgale, LETA learned from the party.

National Alliance's leader Raivis Dzintars explained that during last municipal elections, the National Alliance won the largest number of seats among all the parties - 166 seats. And now the party can be proud about its performance and work done in all municipalities.

Even though each county or city has their own priorities, the main focus will be put on efficient administration, oriented on cooperation, support to different social groups, especially families with children, elderly people, good quality education and culture, development of business and infrastructure.

The National Alliance has 41 regional units with more than 1,000 members across Latvia.
