RIGA, Feb 7 (LETA) - Covid-19 incidence in Riga schools continues to expand, according to the information provided by the education, culture and sports department.

A week ago, remote learning in different forms was introduced in 62 schools, but this year this number has risen to 71.

In total, 486 classes were in remote learning in full or partly last week, compared to 541 classes this week.

Covid-19 has also affected operations of 50 kindergartens, in total 106 preschool groups.
