RIGA, Nov 24 (LETA) - Rezekne Hospital has started to gradually renew scheduled health care services, LETA found out from the hospital.

In view of the stabilization of the epidemiological situation, the hospital is gradually resuming scheduled services, assessing the available human resources and infrastructure capacity.

More than 500 Covid-19 patients have been admitted to hospital since the beginning of September. Of those hospitalized, 9 percent were vaccinated against Covid-19.

Also, an average of 300 vaccinations are performed at the hospital on a daily basis. This week, the hospital's vaccination point is open each working day.

Since the start of vaccination against Covid-19 at the end of last year until the beginning of November this year, the vaccination teams of Rezekne Hospital have made 38,476 vaccination jabs against Covid-19.
