Most of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga and Jurmala
RIGA, Feb 22 (LETA) - Most of the new Covid-19 cases detected in Latvia on Sunday were registered in Riga and Jurmala, according to the Disease Prevention and Control Center's data.
With 115 new Covid-19 cases registered in Riga, the cumulative 14-day infection rate in the capital city reached 3,124.
Jurmala had 16 new Covid-19 cases, and the total number of Covid-19 cases registered in Jurmala during the past fourteen days rose to 329. The cumulative 14-day Covid-19 incidence in Liepaja was down to 319 cases, with ten of them recorded on Sunday.
According to LETA's estimates, Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population now stands at 508.7.
