Rigas Satiksme to donate seven buses to Ukraine
RIGA, March 26 (LETA) - The Riga City Council has authorized the municipal public transportation company Rigas Satiksme to donate seven buses to Ukraine.
The buses to be donated to Ukraine are Solaris Urbino 12 models that are not needed for the company’s operations anymore.
The company will cover the costs associated with transporting the buses.
As LETA learned from the company, Rigas Satiksme has previously donated 21 buses to Ukraine in two separate donations.
The buses will be loaded with various essential goods, food, and spare bus parts.
As explained by Rigas Satiksme, these seven donated buses are planned to be used for transporting the wounded.
