113 projects submitted to Riga City Council for renovation of apartment buildings
RIGA, Feb 13 (LETA) - 113 projects have been submitted to Riga City Council that deal with apartment buildings' renovation, beautification of apartment building yards and preservation of historic buildings, Riga municipality informed LETA.
Riga City Council's Urban Development and Quality Committee began assessing the projects today.
Out of the 113 projects submitted to Riga City Council, 88 deal with renovation of facades and roofs of apartment buildings, three with beautification of land plots attached to apartment buildings, and 22 with preservation of historic buildings.
The committee will be assessing the projects until May 8. The total budget for such projects this year is EUR 2,000,026.
Riga City Council points out that an additional EUR 300,000 has also been set aside this year for setting up category 3 bomb shelters in Riga. Applications will be accepted until May 8.
