Covid-19 vaccination takes up pace - 1,592 people vaccinated on Tuesday
RIGA, Jan 13 (LETA) - On Tuesday, 1,592 people received Covid-19 jabs, which is by 247 people more than on Monday, according to the National Health Service data.
Since the start of the vaccination, in total 9,899 people have received the vaccines, including 7,629 medics and 2,270 employees of medical institutions.
On Tuesday, 33 vaccination rooms were open. The largest number or 307 vaccines were administered in the Riga East University Hospital, thus, in total, 2,867 people have been vaccinated in the hospital.
Children University Hospital on Tuesday administered 236 vaccines, and in total - 1,116 vaccines, while Pauls Stradins University Hospital administered 196 medics on Tuesday, while the total number of people vaccinated in this hospital reaches 2,413.
The smallest number of vaccines were administered in Ogre county hospital and Ziemelkurzeme regional hospital - five in each of them.
As reported, Latvia so far has received 30,255 Pfizer and BioNTech vaccines and 1,200 Moderna vaccines.
