Prices of standard-design apartments in Riga up 1.6% in nine months - Arco Real Estate
RIGA, Oct 9 (LETA) - In September 2025, prices of Soviet-era standard-design apartments in Riga residential districts rose 0.2 percent from August, and increased 1.6 percent since the beginning of the year, according to the latest apartment market report of the real estate company Arco Real Estate.
In September, the prices of standard-design apartments rose to EUR 865 per square meter. The prices were by 47 percent lower on average than on September 1, 2007, when the all time highest price level of EUR 1,620 per square meter was reached.
In the first nine months of this year, the average price of standard-design apartments in Riga rose 1.6 percent, with price increases in several residential neighborhoods reaching 4-5 percent.
Among Riga's largest residential districts, the largest changes in apartment prices have been recorded in Jugla, where they increased by almost 5 percent from the start of the year.
The prices of standard apartments increased by 3-4 percent also in Imanta and Kengarags in the first nine months of the year. In other residential neighborhoods, price changes did not exceed 2 percent. The smallest changes in apartment prices were recorded in the most expensive neighborhood - Teika, while in the cheapest residential district - Bolderaja, prices even slightly dropped.
