Riga municipality plans to spend nearly EUR 3 million on renovating six schools
Riga, April 22 (LETA) - The Riga City Council decided today to spend nearly EUR 3 million on renovation of six schools.
The renovation and restoration of buildings at Riga Secondary School No 31 and Riga Gailezers Elementary School are planned to cost EUR 1.04 million.
Renovation of school buildings at Riga Imantas Secondary School and Riga Secondary School No 84 is planned for EUR 894,062.
Meanwhile, EUR 1.06 million will be spent on new science and technology learning centers at Riga Elementary School No 69 and Riga Janis Steinhauers Secondary School.
The municipality plans to borrow up to EUR 2.7 million to implement these projects. The repayment period of the loan is planned to be up to ten years, with principal deferred for up to three years.
