Most of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga, Daugavpils, Liepaja
RIGA, March 2 (LETA) - Out of the 645 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia over the past 24 hours, 33 percent were recorded in Riga, but Daugavpils and Liepaja reported many new cases as well, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
The 213 new cases discovered in Riga brought the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases in the Latvian capital to 3,090.
Daugavpils cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases dropped to 470, with 32 new Covid-19 cases detected in the past 24 hours.
Liepaja registered 26 new Covid-19 cases, while its cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases increased to 319.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population edged down to 493.1.
