    Firefighters spend almost four hours to rescue cow stuck in the mud

    RIGA, Oct 11 (LETA) - On Thursday, the State Fire and Rescue Service officers spent almost four hours rescuing a cow stuck in the mud, the service informed LETA.

    Shortly after 6 p.m., rescuers were called to Barbele County, Bauska Region, where a cow had got stuck in the mud in a field. The rescuers dug out some mud around the animal, put hoses around it, and pulled the cow out of the mud with the help of a rescue vehicle.

    The rescue effort took almost four hours.
