15 staff and 47 clients of social care center in Ape infected with Covid-19
RIGA, Jan 22 (LETA) - 15 staff and 47 clients of the Trapene social care center in Ape Region have been infected with Covid-19, the care center's spokeswoman Anna Zagare told LETA.
"This week we are conducting tests both on Monday and today. Testing is also planned next Monday as well to make sure of the health condition of our clients," said Zagare.
She informed that this week the health condition of the clients of the care center is being monitored by a family physicians, and the institution has pulse oximeters so that people can quickly monitor the level of oxygen in the blood.
According to the data of the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (SPKC), the cumulative number of cases in Ape Region the past 14 days is currently 85 people.
According to information from the local municipality, the social care home currently holds 56 clients.
