Most of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga
RIGA, April 6 (LETA) - Out of the 309 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia in the past 24 hours, 44 percent have been recorded in Riga, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
The 135 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Riga brought the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases in the capital city to 2,251.
In Jelgava, the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases dropped to 290, with 19 cases confirmed in the past 24 hours.
Jurmala recorded 16 new Covid-19 cases as the the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases rose to 202.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population is currently 337.5, according to LETA's estimates.
