Dundaga local council chairman, his deputy step down from positions
RIGA, Jan 28 (LETA) - On Thursday, Dundaga local council chairman Aldis Felts (For Our People) and deputy chairman Janis Maurins (For Our People) announced their resignation.
Both officials stepped down from their positions. In line with the legislation, they continue their duties until the next council meeting.
Felts explained his decision with personal reasons, while Maurins said that he is stepping down because he is not ready to give up his business.
Both officials will keep their local councilmen mandates.
