Most of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga, Jelgava and Jurmala
RIGA, April 30 (LETA) - Of the 763 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia in the past 24 hours, 35 percent have been recorded in Riga, and there have been many cases reported also in Jelgava and Jurmala, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
Riga reported 266 new Covid-19 cases, which brought the capital city's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases to 2,759.
Jelgava registered 27 new Covid-19 cases, as its cumulative two-week number of cases reached 389.
The cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases in Jurmala rose to 152, with 24 cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population increased to 430.6, according to LETA's estimates.
