Borders of new municipalities available in open data format
RIGA, March 1 (LETA) - The new administrative territories that will be in force as of July 1, 2021, have been published on Latvian open data portal data.gov.lv and the unified geoportal geolatvija.lv, LETA learned from the Environment Protection and Regional Development Ministry.
The data have been prepared by the ministry in cooperation with the State Land Service.
The ministry said that companies that are engaged in development of geospatial information systems now may integrate the new territorial borders in their products, for example, navigation apps, etc.
The open data may be used also by land surveyors, builders.
