More than half of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga
RIGA, June 14 (LETA) - Out of the 74 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia over the past 24 hours, 61 percent were recorded in Riga, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
The 45 new cases discovered in Riga brought the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases in the Latvian capital to 998.
Daugavpils recorded five new Covid-19 cases and Dundaga Region registered four cases.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population slipped to 153.4.
