Greens/Farmers has won local elections in Aluksne municipality
Riga, June 8 (LETA) - The Union of Greens and Farmers has won the local elections in Aluksne municipality, according to data published by the Central Election Commission (CVK).
Greens/Farmers received 23.97 percent of the votes, leaving behind the National Alliance, which received 22.53 percent.
The New Unity followed with 20.15 percent of the votes, Latvia's Green Party received 9.74 percent, and the Latvian Association of Regions - 6.81 percent.
The other parties in Aluksne have not overcome the 5 percent barrier.
The Greens/Farmers, the National Alliance and the New Unity have won four seats each, Latvia's Green Party won two seats and Latvian Association of Regions got one seat at Aluksne regional council.
