36 children from Ukraine begin studies at two Ventspils schools this week
RIGA, March 17 (LETA) - 36 children from Ukraine began their studies at two Ventspils schools this week, LETA was informed by the Ventspils City Council.
They will be assisted by six teaching assistants from Ukraine who speak Ukrainian.
Another six Ukrainian children have been placed at Ventspils kindergartens.
The municipality confirms that it remains ready to receive refugees from Ukraine in Ventspils and provide them with the necessary assistance, as well as the opportunity to receive education.
