862 specialists attracted to the health care sector in regions with ESF support
RIGA, Feb 17 (LETA) - In the past three years, 862 specialists have been attracted to the health care sector in regions with the European Social Fund (ESF) support, according to the data by the Health Ministry.
Within the ESF projects, specialists attracted to the health care sector included 383 assistant nurses, 167 nurses, 162 medical assistants and 91 doctors.
Most of the specialists were attracted in Latgale - 293, including 122 assistant nurses, 83 medical assistants, 23 doctors and other specialists.
