Covid-19 cases detected in several education institutions in Gulbene county
RIGA, Jan 25 (LETA) - Covid-19 cases have been registered in several education institutions in Gulbene county, the local council's education department head Edite Kanavina reported.
She said that two employees of Auseklitis preschool tested for Covid-19, and two Covid-10 cases were registered in Jaungulbene preschool. The groups with preschool education program will continue learning remotely, said Kanavina.
One pupils of Sveki school with the special education program tested positive for Covid-19. This school so far had contact learning, but now remote learning will take place until February 7.
According to the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC), in the past 14 days, 217 people registered positive for Covid-19 in Gulbene county.
