Next week vaccination campaign will target senior citizens, residents of Latgale
RIGA, April 23 (LETA) - Next week the Covid-19 vaccination campaign will target senior citizens and residents of eastern Latgale region, Health Minister Daniels Pavluts (For Development) said in a Twitter post.
The minister also said that this coming weekend, vaccination of priority groups will continue in large vaccination centers with a prior appointment via manavakcina.lv. Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine will be used.
On Tuesday, the threshold of 200,000 vaccinated people has been overstepped and at least 205,000 people or 13 percent of all Latvian residents over the age of 16 have received at least one vaccine dose.
As reported, Latgale region has the lowest share of vaccinated people right now.
