Government supports issue of EUR 12.4 million in loans to 51 municipal investment projects
RIGA, Aug 31 (LETA) - The government today supported issue of EUR 12.4 million in loans to 51 municipal projects, LETA learned from the Environment Protection and Regional Development Ministry.
The projects will be implemented in Tukums, Saldus, Kuldiga, Talsi, Dienvidkurzeme, Jelgava, Bauska, Dobele, Valmiera, Aizkraukle, Gulbene, Madona, Rezekne, Augsdaugava, Adazi and Kekava municipalities as well as in state cities - Riga, Jurmala, Rezekne and Daugavpils.
The most popular investment projects are municipal transport infrastructure development - 27 projects from 16 municipalities. The projects should be completed by the end of 2022.
