Seven new State and Local Government Single Customer Service Centres open in Valmiera municipality
Riga, Nov 7 (LETA) - Seven new State and Local Government Single Customer Service Centers have started work in Valmiera municipality, the Smart Administration and Regional Development Ministry informed LETA.
The new Single Service Centers will operate in the territories of Evele, Vecate, Ramata, Ipiki, Lode, Vilpulka and Jerceni.
The new centers will provide citizens with more convenient access to state and local government services closer to their place of residence, offering the opportunity to receive consultations in one place, apply for all e-services available in the state administration portal latvija.gov.lv, as well as receive video consultations with specialists of the State Social Insurance Agency, State Land Service, State Revenue Service and Health Inspectorate.
Currently, Single Service Centers operate in 35 municipalities, in a total of 266 locations, including the new centers in Valmiera municipality.
The Smart Administration and Regional Development Ministry in cooperation with municipalities continues to expand the network of Single Service Centers across Latvia, especially in rural and remote regions. This allows citizens to receive professional and timely support without having to travel to larger cities.
