RIGA, June 20 (LETA) - On June 23-24, the Midsummer holidays or Jani in Latvia, public transport can be used free of charge in Riga, LETA learned from Rigas Satiksme municipal public transport company's representative Inese Rozite.

Public transport will run on weekend schedule, but additional runs will be organized on June 23 from 7 p.m. until 5:30 the next morning to help people celebrating Midsummer to get to the places of celebration.

Also, Rigas Satiksme parking spaces can be used free of charge on June 23-24, except for underground parking lot by the House of Congress.
