Talsi Region has already taken in 43 refugees from Ukraine
RIGA, March 11 (LETA) - 43 people war refugees from Ukraine have arrived in Talsi Region since March 2, 21 of whom are children, the municipality's spokeswoman Inita Fedko told LETA.
Most of the Ukrainian people that have arrived in the region are staying with relatives and acquaintances.
According to Fedko, Talsi municipality is ready to provide accommodation and meals, assistance in arranging documents, services of pre-school educational institutions and other educational institutions for refugees from Ukraine, as well as to address other issues related to their stay in Latvia.
