Parties have signed agreements for EUR 741,155 on pre-election campaigns
RIGA, May 7 (LETA) - By April 30, political parties in Latvia had signed agreements for EUR 741,155 on pre-election campaigns ahead of the local elections, according to the information published by the Corruption Prevention Bureau (KNAB).
Harmony has signed agreements for EUR 140,310, New Conservative Party - for EUR 90,415, For Latvia's Development - for EUR 69,857, Latvia's Green Party - for EUR 58,832, the Union of Greens and Farmers - for EUR 54,919, New Unity - for EUR 54,766, Latvia's Alliance of Regions - for EUR 4,496.
Latvia's Union of Russians has signed agreements for EUR 47,151, the National Alliance - for EUR 44,802, KPV LV - for EUR 28,531, Latvian Farmers' Union - for 22,080, Our Party - for EUR 18,401, Latgale Party - for EUR 13,833, Movement For - for EUR 13,009, Progressives - for EUR 12,744, Daugavpils County Party - for EUR 7,126, Liepaja Party - for EUR 6,323.
As reported, the pre-election campaign started on February 6, while the upcoming local elections will be held on June 5.
