Lowest proportion of vaccinated residents still in Latgale and Zemgale
RIGA, Oct 10 (LETA) - Of the regions of Latvia, Latgale and Zemgale are still the ones where the lowest proportion of residents are vaccinated against Covid-19, while the highest proportion of vaccinated residents is in Pieriga, according to information compiled by the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB).
According to the CSB, 41 percent of Latvian residents were fully vaccinated on October 1.
In Pieriga, 44.8 percent of the population were vaccinated against Covid-19 on October 1, in Vidzeme 44.3 percent, in Kurzeme - 39.4 percent, in Zemgale - 39 percent, but in Latgale - 29.4 percent.
