    Representatives of four tickets agree on coalition in Kekava county

    RIGA, June 10 (LETA) - In the new Kekava county, representatives of four tickets for the local elections agreed on forming the coalition, leaving the current local council mayor in the opposition.

    Representatives of For Latvia's Development, Growth, Latvian Association of Regions, National Alliance/Vidzeme Party and New Conservative Party will sign a declaration on cooperation in Kekava county council.

    Eleven participants from four tickets elected to the local council will sign the declaration.

    Thus, this declaration will leave New Unity party in opposition along with incumbent Kekava local council chairwoman Viktorija Baire.

    As reported, the new Kekava county that has been merged with Baldone county, has 19 lawmakers, and five elected from New Unity ticket. 

    Latvian Association of Regions got three mandates, the Union of Greens and Farmers got three mandates, the united ticket of National Alliance and Vidzeme Party got two mandates, and New Conservative Party got one mandate.
